Detroit Lakes has a beautiful Pavilion constructed in the early 1900's on the shore of Little Detroit Lake surrounded by the City Park. The Pavilion has hosted many famous orchestras, bands and musicians over the years, providing dancing entertainment to the public in a beautiful setting. The pavilion hosts many events throughout the year from Polar Fest in the winter to dances, wedding receptions, family reunions, anniversary parties, and Water Carnival events in the summer. A dance permit must be obtained from City Hall to hold a public dance at this site. Public wi-fi is available at the Pavilion. The Pavilion is available mid-May to mid-October for rentals.
Decor and drapery are not included with rental.
