Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Walz under Minn. Stat. § Chapter 12 – Emergency Management declared a peacetime emergency on March 13, 2020. The City has determined an in-person meeting may not be practical or prudent because of the health pandemic. The City of Detroit Lakes Meetings will be held via telephone conference call or by other electronic means as outlined in Minn. Stat.§13D.021. Members of the public who wish to view the meeting virtually should submit a request at comments@cityofdetroitlakes.com
The City of Detroit Lakes City Council Meeting will be a “hybrid meeting” taking place with two (2) options. You can attend in person at the Historical Holmes Center Ballroom located at 806 Summit Avenue or to attend virtually please submit a request to comments@cityofdetroitlakes.com
