Parade Permits

The City of Detroit Lakes processes parade permits. Organizations must complete the application and adhere to the laws set forth in the City of Detroit Lakes Municipal Code.

 

Application & Important things to remember are:

• Completed application must be submitted  

• Please contact the Detroit Lakes Police Department and the Becker County Sheriff Department to coordinate all traffic control regulations.

• For Cones and Barricades please contact the Detroit Lakes Public Works.

 

NOTE: The parade organization is responsible to coordinate traffic control at all intersections

 

Applications are considered for approval by City Council on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, once approved, applications will be processed and issued within 2-3 business days.
