Community Development

The City of Detroit Lakes Community Development office provides staff for the Development Authority.

 

The Community Development Department can also provide you with a variety of information concerning labor force, project financing, zoning, available commercial/industrial space, utility rates, demographic information, and financial incentives. The Community Development staff can assist you with tax increment financing, financial packaging, and assistance in preparing applications for various local, state and federal economic development loans and programs.
