For the health and safety of the residents and visitors of the City of Detroit Lakes. The City of Detroit Lakes requires anyone sell tobacco products without first being licensed. Applicants must submit a completed application for approval. 

Applications are considered for approval by City Council on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, once approved, applications will be processed and issued within 2-3 business days.
