PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
Becker County and the City of Detroit Lakes invite you to a public input meeting regarding proposed improvements to West Lake Drive between Legion Road and County Road 6. The proposed improvements include street reconstruction, multi-use trail, stormwater collection and treatment, lighting, and relocation of electrical distribution lines.
The public meeting will be held Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the City Administration Building, 1025 Roosevelt Avenue, Detroit Lakes. The open house will begin at 5:00 PM and presentation by City and County staff will begin at 5:30. The purpose of this meeting is to review the general scope and improvement concepts, project impacts, project costs, and tentative schedule. We are early in the development of this project and anticipate additional public meetings as the project further develops. Your feedback and comments are encouraged and are crucial to develop a plan we believe most residents can support.
