Rec Center

The recreation center is located at 210 North Shore Drive, between the City Park and the Washington Ball Field and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for eight weeks starting the 2nd week in June through the 2nd week in August. The Summer Rec Program is run by the Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center (DLCCC).

Washington Ballpark

The Washington Ballpark, located at 1330 Washington Ave, has 8.1 acres. It has very unique grandstands built in the 1920’s providing bleacher seating and concession stands for several hundred people. The Washington Baseball Park has been the home of Little League and American Legion Baseball teams. It is one of the prize baseball parks in Minnesota.

Snappy Park Softball Complex

The Snappy Park Softball Complex is 32 acres and is located at 1275 Cheryl Ave. There are six softball diamonds (three fast pitch and three little league) with a large concession stand and restroom facility. The Detroit Lakes Community Center operates the concessions and the scheduling of activities for the complex.

Croviseir Park

The Croviseir Park has 12.1 acres and is the home for the Boys and Girls Club, on Little League baseball field, playground equipment and a thrilling winter sliding hill for sledding enjoyment. Croviseir Park is located at 150 Richwood Road.

Industrial Park Little League Ballpark

The Industrial Park, located at 1018 11th Ave S.E., has 19.7 acres and is primarily used for little league softball games. There are several softball fields, two picnic shelters and a bathroom on site.

The Community Garden is also located on the east side of this property. If you are interested in learning more about the community garden, you may contact the Becker County Master Gardeners at (218) 846-7328.

Rotary Soccer Field Complex

The Rotary Soccer Field Complex has 36.7 acres and is located north of the Technical College on Highway 34 East. The complex has six soccer playing fields. If you would like information on the Detroit Lakes Youth Soccer program, visit their website at www.dlysa.com.

Memorial Soccer Field
